Hi,
I installed anthy for being able to write in Japanese. It works with firefox but when I type in Libreoffice, just empty boxes or strange symbols appears.
Any help?

I had already configured libreoffice for asian languages and made the default for Japanese but still doesn't work. There seems to be a common problem for other users of different Linux distributions. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Just for the record do you have any asia/japanese font installed? Do anthy work on other gtk app?

Ir works when I type Japanese in Firefox, for example, but not in libreoffice nor Chrome. I installed a bunch of fonts as indicated in the videotutorial. Where from can I get Japanese fonts?

I will do that, but it is not only in Libreoffice, I cannot type Japanese in Google Chrome or Abiword, for example.
Is there some kind of community of Japanese users? Should I install the Japanese version for Libreoffice?

I haven't installed any particular Japanese font. I just installed the fonts recommended in the videotutorial. Can you tell me how to install some Japanese fonts?
