Out of curiosity,  I posted on July 20th if anyone has been working on at that time release 14, its was stated that it was in testing and the link was provided.  The reason stated that it was still in testing and not moved yet was it may not be working.  I've been using the 14 testing release since that day without any issues. Running like a CHAMP! With that said has anybody been working on release 15.0 or 15.01?  Just thought i would ask with respect of course, my other distributions are at the current release along with my android smart phone.

Thanks, i looked at the links, i will admit i don't understand any of that or what is ment by mozilla-nss instead of nss package. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to find this package in untested. Went through g-slapt testing, went to our repositories etc. Just couldn't find it or make any sence of it.  I gave up yesterday  after about 2 hours and walked away. Today i tried again,  45 minutes later, frustrated again i looked at slackfind.net and 15.01 is there in a .txz file is there. mozilla-firefox-15.0.1-i686-1gv.txz. Just installed it and been putting it through  its paces. Very smooth as usual with no ill effects on my plugins.

Our (vectorlinux) untested repo is at:
http://vlcore.vectorlinux.com/pkg/untested/veclinux-7.0/x86 for 32-bit and
http://vlcore.vectorlinux.com/pkg/untested/veclinux-7.0/x86_64 for 64-bit

To access it, simple add the URL that corresponds to your architecture via gslapt or directly on /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc

Please keep in mind that's the "untested" repo.  Things there change very often... several times a day, and expect broken packages.... if you can live with that, leave it enabled and help us test things.... otherwise, stick to the tested and testing repos. Wink
