Amrel Rt 786 Ex Toughbook. Dist-upgrade killed my previous install of AntiX 12 on this Hardrive. But it is not like I don't have another AntiX core install LXDE Hard Drive I can slap into here when needed (caddies are hot swappable, core install is in link picture above). I shoulda paid more attention because I fixed the breakage on the core install but snafued the full install. I know. Confusing.  Roll Eyes

Liked Vector so much. I blew away a AntiX 11 partition I had on this quad booter IBM M41 Desktop. Menu entry in legacy grub is AntiX 12 which boots everything up from mbr. This is a dual drive ide Desktop with Linux installed on /dev/sda and /dev/sdb.

Code:
title antiX at sda1, kernel 3.3.5-antix.1-486-smp
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-3.3.5-antix.1-486-smp root=/dev/sda1 nomce quiet nosplash nouveau.modeset=0 vga=791
initrd /boot/initrd.img-3.3.5-antix.1-486-smp     #####this is grub legacy installed to /dev/sda1 mbr#####
boot

title Semplice GNU/Linux, with Linux 3.2.0-3-486
rootnoverify (hd1,1)
chainloader +1   #######this is grub 2 installed to root folder########

title Vector STD Gold 7 at /dev/sda2
rootnoverify (hd0,1)
chainloader +1  #######this is lilo installed to /etc/lilo.conf#########

title Puppy Linux 529 frugal in sdb1 dir macpup529frugal
rootnoverify (hd1,0)                 #####frugal install with save file#########
kernel /macpup529frugal/vmlinuz pmedia=atahd psubdir=macpup529frugal
