It has wireless capabilities for sure but I have no idea how.

will usually find a wireless card when lspci can't. I have seen this kind of behavior before trouble shooting orinco wireless pcmcia chips in AntiX  forums. Trouble is. You need to install the packages I mention in my thread

to run that command for it to work out for you.

Errr, look up above? For the webcam. One thing at a time. I posted what I tried, to show you on webcam, earlier.

Probably means either your wireless card is broke or you don't even have one.

Network and netcard failed also to show a wireless hardware device. If you look at my usb output. That is my wireless usb on this desktop. So you say you have wireless on this Vaio Laptop but I have tried everything I know of to see it. Land Line is all that shows.
