Bonjour!

just downloaded the latest slackware wine-1.5.14-x86_64-1sg.txz, upgraded to it.
but wine can't be started. here's prompt:

where can i find ld-linux.so.2?how to install it ?

please help me urgently!

Wine is a 32 it application. It is built on a Slackware 64
bit system using 32 bit libraries. Vector does not have
the multilib that Slackware has.

You will have to find the lib from the Slackware repo where you got the wine app from. Install it by simply adding it into /usr/lib

You'll need to do this for every lib*.name.so it complains for. Another way, though a crude way, is to copy all the 32bit libs from SLackware into the /usr/lib directory.
