I can second the motion for Tuxpaint!  I know that Gcompris is in the repo,....
But I am on dialup (yeah,..still am) and gcompris (which may have Tuxpaint in it) is simply too large an app to download for me.  I was thinking of requesting just the Tuxpaint (even without the stamps,...since I have those on a flash drive, and can add them in).   So here's two requests for Tuxpaint.   Grin

OK, tuxpaint is now in testing.  Give it a go and let me know how it turned out on the announcement page.
Thanks.

Wow,...that was fast!  No wonder you're called  "stretchedthin".
It will be just a couple of days or so for me to actually get it, and give it a go.   That's because I decided (stupidly, I guess) to do a nice new fresh install of VL Standard on my main computer, right after I posted.    Alas,...the CD just somehow won't install anymore (one too many scratches, I suppose).   Being on that dreaded dialup (hey,....it actually does work,...and it's cheap enough, so can't complain too much)......
...I have ANOTHER nice new CD of VL Standard ordered and coming by snail-mail.   Now I can't wait.
Thanks for the Tuxpaint, stretchedthin,........it'll make my grandson veeeeeeeery happy  (it's one of his favorites).

I got this installed and tested this evening on a 64-bit VL-7.0 machine.  Seems to work fine.  Kids are ecstatic.  I will get it on a 32-bit machine tomorrow.

Thanks!
