imagemagick question
« on: December 03, 2012, 11:55:09 pm »

Ver 6.6.6_10-i486-1 (in VL repositories) won't load.  Says:  "Command not found."  I am guessing that this may not be an error.....perhaps it is command line only with specific commands needed.  For example:  "johwhi:$ convert -density 150 -resample 150x150 B_001.pdf B_001.png" works and I guess that is imagemagic?

Is that the case, i.e. is imagemagick working properly?

Sledgehammer
Imagemagick has many commands which can be used at the command line none of which are imagemagick.
What you are looking for is the display command.

You can do display. /filename
Or just display
Right click on the GUI to get menu of options.

Thank you so much!

I don't know anything about imagemagick, as you can see.

If you use the geeqie image viewer you can add imagemagick tools to the editor list, I posted how to here at the bottom.

Stretchedthin,

Thanks for the video.  I viewed it in minitube (opened minitube and searched for openofficebistro pdf).  Came right up.  What a wonderful way to edit pdfs.  I had been using openoffice and openoffice draw won't do it.   That video needs some publicity.
