How do I get Vector Linux to recognize my USB floppy disk drive?

show us the output of lspci, lsusb and lsmod
what file manager you using?
what version of VL you are using?

I am using the default file manager, and my operating system is Vector Linux 7.0, and no, my USB floppy drive doesn't show up when I plug it in.

It seem there is a bug in the udisk rules...follow the instruction as below links and it should automount your usb floppy drive
