Over the past few years, I've been installing XP SP3 on any computer I acquired (usually given to me free because they're so old). A year ago, I decided to try out Linux. I had driver problems with the lightweight distros (DSL, Puppy), and I didn't notice any benefit to using something like Ubuntu. There was a learning curve, and it was slower than what I was running. I finally got fed up with Microsoft again and decided to try to switch. I did my research more carefully this time and stumbled across VectorLinux. I'm running 7.0 Light with IceWM, and it works PERFECTLY. Microsoft lost another customer for good, and I'm trying to get my friends to switch over as well.
