Hello,

Having an issues with TS3 where I can hear people fine but they cannot hear me. As in I push to talk, the light turns on but nothing.
The mic works just fine in skype.

In Settings Playback
Configure the playback sound system

Playback mode is ALSA
Playback Device is Default
Other options for device are:

Hd NVidia (ALC1200 Analog) [plughw:0,0]
Hd NVidia (ALC1200 Digital) [plughw:0,3]
Custom

In settings Capture
Configure and capture sound settings

Capture mode is set to ALSA
Capture Device is Default. I only have 4 options other than default.

Hd NVidia (ALC1200 Analog) [plughw:0,0]
Hd NVidia (ALC1200 Analog) [plughw:0,2]
Hd NVidia (ALC1200 Digital) [plughw:0,3]
Custom

None of these work.

In ALSA Mixer

Playback tab  has       Master     Front Mic        Front Mic Boost      Center      Rear Mic         Rear Mic Boost      all showing and at mid range.

Capture tab has          Capture 1           Capture 2  showing and at mid range. (Both circles at the bottom are gray not red)

Only Errors in ts:

12/24/12 11:31 PM   SoundBckndIntf   Error   libpulse.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

12/24/12 11:31 PM      Warning    getaddrinfo error: Name or service not known

If anyone can lead me in the right direction, It would be much appreciated,
Thank you.

I presume you mean skype on linux works.  I don't use skype or teamspeak.  But if no one else has a suggestion, you might try loading linphone (in the VL repositories) and seeing if that works.  If it doesn't, I could probably help troubleshoot a bit as I use linphone constantly.  Perhaps if linphone works, you can figure out why teamspeak doesn't.  Sounds to me like its something simple, like the mike not being turned on or some such.

Merry Christmas.

Teamspeak seems to be a lot more like Mumble than it is skype.  Downloaded it and gave it a go.
Looks like the wizard does not pick up the capture device very well, (or at all).
Start it up again, go to Settings --> Options --> then click on Capture in the side panel.
There select the Capture device for your machine.  Mine was the USB microphone connected to my Webcam.
Which was listed as USB Device 0x46d:0x821(USB Audio) [plughw:2,0]
fwiw.

Seemed OK after that.

Had to end up installing PulseAudio.
It now works.
