VL 7.1 is the first generation of Vectorlinux that is going to benefit from the Vectorlinux Buildbot.  In this thread I am going to record a number of video's of myself using the bot, in the hopes that others will join in and help increase the available library of SlackBuilds available to the bot.

Here is a link to M0E_lnx's docs ...

Here is the first of such videos.

you have video #2 posted on your you tube channel. you refer from the start "if you watched my first video" that of which is here in the forum only. Not everybody watching your #2 video on you tube knows how to get to this forum post. There has already been a post on that page seeking your number #1  video by a viewer. If your not aware of this i'm letting you know so you at least get off to a good start promoting this.

Nice start.
I'd like to see one showing off how the bot will automatically start the builds once you push, so, maybe start off with xchat conencted to the channel, terminal to update an existing application, push the change.  Then show the bot notification on the IRC channel.  Also show them the a tour of the web UI... the slaves page shows the status of each slave and if you click on each slave, you can see which apps it is currently building and the last 10 builds for that slave.

BTW:  On the `commit` command, the "-a" is for "add the changes of the modified files to your commit" and the "-m" is for "message"

You can find the first and second videos on this thread here...

Thanks for pointing out that the 2nd video was public on youtube.  I've changed it so now it is only visible on that channel.
