Could we get pdftk in the repositories?  It would be appreciated.  The slackbuilds version does not work.

This has been discussed before:

Thanks.  I have tried several tgz files found here and there on the internet, as well as slackbuilds and none of them work.  So I suppose that getting pdftk to run on VL7 is not going to be an easy task.  Yet it is, supposedly, a very valuable program for the likes of me, who deal constantly with pdfs.  One thing it is apparently particularly good for is finding metadata on pdfs.

u need gcc-java to build pdftk...currently VL7 do not have that in the repo...I need to move the slackware packages to repo first before I can build it...

Thanks!  I loaded it and it seems to work fine.  Will let you know of any problems.
