I am not sure you are going to find it uncompressed.
you can get it here: http://dl.ivtvdriver.org/ivtv/firmware/ivtv-firmware.tar.gz
you can install it as root with:
Code:
wget http://dl.ivtvdriver.org/ivtv/firmware/ivtv-firmware.tar.gz
cd /lib/firmware
tar xvf /root/ivtv-firmware.tar.gz

Thanks, but I did manage to find an uncompressed copy of that file in the meantime. But the problem that I am now having is that when I run TVTime, I get the following output (from within terminal mode:

doctor:$ tvtime
Running tvtime 1.0.2.
Reading configuration from /etc/tvtime/tvtime.xml
Reading configuration from /home/doctor/.tvtime/tvtime.xml
videoinput: Card failed to allocate capture buffers: Invalid argument
Thank you for using tvtime.

I recently installed a 188-4214 Asus Falcon2 PCI TV Tuner Card, and according to dmesg, I needed to install v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw, which I did. Could you please give me a "refresher course" as to how to go about configuring my tuner card?
