Hello there!

I Just started using Vector Linux on an older computer I had I built back in 2006, and I must say this is the fastest version of Linux I have ever tried! The computer I am using Vector Linux on is an old AMD Athlon at 1.3 Ghz with 1 Gig of RAM running on an SiS motherboard.

It's even faster then Mint on a much more modern machine I also built, and that one is an AMD quad-core (3.5ghz per) with 8 gigs of ram and SATA drives!

I love it so far, please keep up the great work. Smiley

Welcome, Yammer!

Hope you like it here.  If you stick around, I suspect it won't be long befpre you make all your computers Vector only.  I find there to be no need for anything else.
