Oh... Didn't quite get that from the initial post...
We once got into the top 10 but have been slowly sliding down the rankings, those that tend to be higher are those that release more often and get more attention.
23 to 68. Quite a drop....

I have sometimes amused myself by endeavoring to fancy what would be the fate of an individual gifted, or rather accursed, with an intellect very far superior to that of his race. Of course, he would be conscious of his superiority; nor could he (if otherwise constituted as a man is) help manifesting his consciousness. Thus he would make himself enemies at all points. And since his opinions and speculations would widely differ from those of all mankind-that he would be considered a madman, is evident. How horribly painful such a condition! Hell could invent no greater torture than of being charged with abnormal weakness on account of being abnormally strong.
There is not much to scratch about, this old way of Linux really doesn't have much of a following any longer. Although not a bad thing just shows the advancement since this distro base. Vector seems to be held together by the glue in this forum. Very nice to see, just don't get stuck in time.

What advancement? If you're speaking of Ubuntu and their god awful UI, they can have it.
That the masses are too ignorant to appreciate a fine wine or Byron's The Dream, does not detract from the wine or The Dream. VL 7 is electronic poetry of the first order. It is one beautiful piece of work. As my long deceased friend, Ed Poe said once in his book of Criticism:QuoteI have sometimes amused myself by endeavoring to fancy what would be the fate of an individual gifted, or rather accursed, with an intellect very far superior to that of his race. He only left his opinions on paper.
