[ SOLVED ] Changing window managers?
« on: December 14, 2014, 11:41:40 am »

I'm not sure if this is the right place to be asking this question or not, but I was wondering if there is a way to change window managers in Vector Linux 7.0. I ask that because I have been noticing a lot of "video tearing" whenever I play any videos, and when I did an internet search on the subject, I got the impression that the window manager in question was perhaps one of the culprits. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Install another WM/DE or two from the repos.
Log out.
On login screen, click <sessions> at lower left corner and choose.
Log in, answer prompt.
