Upgraded pcmanfm to 1.1.0 on VL 7.0 Light and, except for leaving pcmanfm-mod in control of desktop, changed filemanager references to point to it.
Note: For Light installed to use IceWM and pcmanfm-mod, there's much more to this than stated here. For right now, just providing testing feedback and skipping other info.

Installed fine, needed only a few manual edits to make it work with my setup; wouldn't worry about those, the package is mainly for lxde, right?

Solved a problem I had that file display wouldn't update when files were added, removed, or renamed. Also, opening folder as root works correctly now. Just needed to change the terminal call to roxterm for "open folder in terminal" to work (lxterminal isn't present here).

Looks like a good build and a solid update  :)   Will let you know if that changes for general use. Problems that involve only my specific installation I'll keep mum on.

With a pcmanfm window open, if a file was deleted it was still shown in the window. If a new file was added, it didn't appear in the pcmanfm window, and so forth.

This problem was with the version of pcmanfm I already had. Installing the new one that you uploaded solved the problem.
