The key word being "informed". The questions being of what and at what point.

The only thing of value to the public that could be added to a trash can is the ability for it to determine the recycle value of the item inserted and placing it in the appropriate section for actual recycle, period.

At what point does the ludicrous abuse of technological application make it an offense to think so.
