Just another remider to BACK UP YOUR DATA!http://lkml.indiana.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/1309.1/01669.html
SSD's are fast and efficient, but when they fail, it's often without any warning. I've experienced two failures of NAND drives. In both cases it happened in a "flash", and there was no recovering the content.
Traditional spinning disks usually degrade more gracefully, reporting errors and make noises before they die completely. I've recovered data from many failing drives, some times by putting them in the deep freezer!
