Hi from Spain
« on: October 23, 2013, 01:25:49 pm »
Hello all.

It's a pleasure to join you here. I just finished the installation of VL 7.0 and my intention is to stay here for a long. I've tested a lot of distros and my wish is to maintain VL.

I'm using an old PC, pentium 5 I believe (I can know exactly what kind of cpu it is if I try to do that  ;) ) with 1 Gb of RAM.

Some troubles found, I hope to fix quick despite I'm not linux expert but counting with your help.

Basically with the Spanish language, I'm do not know how to activate it.

Well, If you have patience I will post my experiences with VL.

Saludos from Spainl.

El Tio Pere

Saludos Tio Pere

Code: [Select]
# en_US is the Slackware default locale:
export LANG=en_US

y edítalo para que se vea así:

Code: [Select]
# en_US is the Slackware default locale:
export LANG=es_ES.UTF-8
