I am using VectorLinux light on a very small HP. There is a lot of stuff I want to get rid of but that is secondary.

1. I would like to be able to download and pin Kindle books but I cannot pin. Just freezes

2. I do not know how to get TrueCrypt to work because it cannot get administrator rights.

I will find a way around but it would be nice to know if there is an easy solution.

Regards.

C

I'm not familiar with Kindle books, but let's start by looking at your system.

Which version of VL Light did you install (6.0, 7.0 - Barebone, Light, Medium or Full)?
Do you remember entering a root password during installation?
What steps do you use when trying to gain administrator rights?

Amazon doesn't have an app or program that allows you to read Kindle Books in Linux. However, there is read.amazon.com which allows you to access your Kindle account via the browser and read your books that way.
