Hi it seems my old Username has been lost in this forum. So here comes the old newbie again! =)

Ive looked upon installing Supertuxkart, but sens it's abit trickier than usual and on QP in version 0.7
I figure that an upgrade might be possible.

I have already played 0.8.1 in a Suse distro, and therefore i know its a major upgrade from the 0.7
So that would be nice if for example "stretchedthin" or somebody else made a new build.
("stretchedthin" made the 0,7 version.)

Otherwise a step by step guidance is appreciated aswell.

Cheers

I have build supertuxkart-0.8.1 for VL 7.0. You can use slapt-get or gslapt to install it via below repo link...

32bit: http://vlcore.vectorlinux.com/pkg/untested/veclinux-7.0/x86/
64bit: http://vlcore.vectorlinux.com/pkg/untested/veclinux-7.0/x86_64/

Remember to disable the untested repo after you have install supertuxkart

PS: supertuxkart-0.8.1 cannot build on mesa-10.x on VL 7.1 due to similar error message

Thank'u hata_ph
I'll be reinstalling 7,0 and 7,1 later tonight and give it a go! =)

Is a downgrade possible of mesa in 7,1 or does that ruin it....?
I'll get back on the testing bit...
