Transmission 2.82 on VL7.1 needs attention
« on: April 18, 2014, 10:48:56 am »

Installed Transmission 2.82 from repo on 7.1 RC1 32-bit. Interface is ugly, and there seems to be icons missing when browsing for a file.

It may be related to GTK settings. I built one from slackbuilds.org, and the gtk version looked the same. However, the qt version, which our package does not have, looks much better in my opinion.

I'm using gtk theme "projets-divers-clearlooks-phenix" which is supposed to be gtk+2/3 compatible.

Installed new pkg I found in untested dated April 20. It has the QT version, with a menu entry for it, and it looks fine.

Added gnome-icon-theme and gnome-icon-theme-extras, gtk version still looks the same.
