what man pages do you need? i agree that we should have more of them included however its getting harder and harder to keep the iso small enough to fit on one cd.....there are alternatives for example

https://www.kernel.org/doc/man-pages/

http://www.linuxmanpages.com/

http://www.tldp.org/manpages/man.html

to name a few....

While trying to maintain a small footprint is admirable, we probably should look at letting the ISO expand beyond CD limits.

Me, I'm all for keeping on one CD even past the point of ridiculousness, just to have a limit.

The request is for the package we've been calling man-pages to be placed in 7.1's repo for those who want it. It's the linux manpages offered by kernel.org. I've grabbed https://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/docs/man-pages/man-pages-3.69.tar.gz and installed it. Just mentioned it because I don't think we should be without this package.
