How do I go about extracting 7zip files?

i use ark which uses p7zip as a backend so install both if you havent already. you can also use p7zip from cli if you so choose.
you may or may not have to enable testing repos.

Of course, you want to make sure you have p7zip installed and the 7za command is available

Or just install unetbootin from gslapt, it pulls p7zip as a depend and then double click your zip  Smiley

why? wouldnt it be easier to just install the package you want to use i.e. p7zip?
