external USB removable drive not mounted

Hello,
When I attach. external removable USB drive it is not being mounted on my VL 7.0 in KDE.  However, KDE is set up to automatically mount removable volumes/drives.
When I do lsusb in terminal I get the following:

Bus 002 Device 002: ID 05ac:0217 Apple, Inc. Internal Keyboard/Trackpad (ANSI)
Bus 003 Device 002: ID 04f3:0210 Elan Microelectronics Corp. AM-400 Hama Optical Mouse
Bus 004 Device 002: ID 05ac:8240 Apple, Inc. IR Receiver [built-in]
Bus 005 Device 003: ID 05ac:8205 Apple, Inc. Bluetooth HCI
Thus, my Western DIgital Passport external HDD i sbeing recognized.  How to get it mounted and visible in Thunar or Konqueror.

as for thunar or konq im not quite sure. however for now you can do this as root

create a mount point
Code: [Select]
mkdir /mnt/usb
find the usb device (for example it might be /dev/sdb)
Code: [Select]
fdisk -l
mount the device
Code: [Select]
mount /dev/sdb /mnt/usb
you can now access it through /mnt/usb

it has been fixed in the latest iso vl7.1 RC 3.1
