Repository untested

Advice or comment on using VL7.1 untested packages.  Also gslapt does not execute from menu but will from terminal,asked about that before.

using untested packages can cause issue at times as they are untested. which is why they are tested.  sometimes you may encounter issues related to you, your hardware or a rogue issue no one else can duplicate. this can be alienating thus use at your own risk. regarding gslapt, you were given an answer but failed to apply it or did not read it.

Response as expected, I was just wondering, as far as gslapt I missed reply or it is lost.

If you are testing out VL7.1rc's it may be worth keeping the related testing repository in your source list as it will have the most up to date packages, however it is unwise to include testing in final releases ie 7.0 or 7.1 final as testing is the testing repository and packages considered stable are moved to default sources, you only need to update the sources list. you can toggle it to test available packages from testing, naturally caution is expected.
