Nothing wrong with the distro. Have you checked the md5sum to ensure you have a good burn?

nothing wrong with the distro i dont think so , i have download it 4 times on 10mb/per sec lol
and why the hell must i burn for testing in virtualbox ... i never burn iso. all other iso work all .. but that i have always with vector distro so why in the hell load others and this one not haha tell me ...
if you burn the iso vector to dvd , that it than works i dont now , but it must work without burning two ..

i tell you why Slackware Linux is a  Linuxdistributie so it sucks

Looks like it is what we call "not a good fit". It happens. :(

Thank you for taking the time to test it anyways, hope other distros may benefit from your testing in the future.

Didnt answer the question, and the screenie does not show us this is VL in the vm.

For someone who claims they know what they're doing, this sure sounds like a troll

Yep, doesn't check md5sum and claims his connection is perfect.

If this is the type of work he does and claims to work with servers, lord help a duck.

Due to a pile of Hardware-problems it took me this long before I could give it a swirl, but now that I have it running: Looks Mighty fine! =)
Minus: Not having a SAS/Sata Raid controller the notification on startup about the esas2r-driver not loading might be able to cause some panic in newbs... ;-)
And I get a short list of errors that I don't get the time to read. So far nothing that visibly influences the system.

What's slightly more annoying is the following: Network connection sets up just fine, but as soon as I take so much as a look at the network-manager it disconnects and won't re-connect 'till reboot. What's up with that?

On a side-note: Angband and Egoboo won't work on a bare install, so I think these packages need a stern look.

Ok, Angband works; Had to enable UTF8-support in the locale (WHY isn't that standard?!?!....)

Egoboo still refuses to create a binary....
