Puzzling issue with Plash Player.
« on: July 13, 2015, 10:06:05 pm »

I keep getting a message bar at the top of my Firefox browser's window saying that Adobe Flash player isn't up to date, so i checked the version of Flash player that I have, and the version is 11.2.202.481, so I go to the Flash player download site to the latest version, and lo and behold, according to them, the latest version happens to be 11.2.202.481, WHAT GIVES???

To be honest with you, I tried Google chrome, but I prefer Firefox better. So how to I go about resolving the flash player issue with it?

You're welcome.
The vendor and "kill" in the same sentence. OK, it's Facebook saying it; but I'll still take it and am feeling less alone now.

Yes. It's long overdue and I'd even provide the fork to ensure it's done and dead.  ;D

flash is replaced with html5, or is in process. try this firefox plugin if you like. or search for another, there are several plugins available to try in firefox add-ons.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/youtube-all-html5/

you can also have a look here.

https://www.youtube.com/html5

this may not solve your issue completely. perhaps further reading on html5 for linux and firefox is worth consideration.

please mark solved if this is helpfull
