« on: October 23, 2015, 02:32:14 pm »

Hi Everyone,

Is iPhone Charging and Connectivity properly supported in all editions of VL7.1?

Thanks, MTB.

iPhone charging is fully supported through any USB ports, but amperage may be limited by the hardware.

iPhone charging is fully supported through any USB ports, but amperage may be limited by the hardware.

It's an iPhone 3GS.

It works perfectly in Manjaro Xfce 0.8.10 and Calculate 15, for example, but is broken in some other distros/editions. Therefore, I guess, it's a matter of having the correct software versions installed and configured correctly.

Bandwidth is limited so I don't want to download anything if it's not going to work.

Thanks!

I don't remember any discussions about connecting to any iDevices using VL. Maybe someone who have done it could chime in?

Bluetooth should work for file transfers, but haven't a clue as to whether you can connect an Crapple, errrrr, Apple product and browse the device.
