I have done today upgrade of packages on my VL7.0 with KDE and after that when it boots it comes to start x and after less than 10 seconds I am prompted that it could not find libcrypt so.0. shared library Please advise how to solve that so I can use X sessions and KDE as previously.

I realized that libcryptso.0 is depending on openssl package. I installed the Slackware 12.0 openssl-0.9.8e-i486-3.tgz using command installpkg since slapt-get needed libcryptso.0 in order to work.
After installing openssl everything works flawlessly.
Huh :)
