After the hussle with installing it on my mini-itx(which yielded a working, albeit graphically lousy system) I went and replaced the Motherboard for this baby:http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/QC5000-ITXPh/
Install went (kinda*) ok, but after reboot the system hangs in the bootsplash.
Took me several restarts (Hardly time see, let alone choose
between graphic and console...) to get me a prompt, but when I did I got the following:
mount: can't find /mnt in /etc/fstab
ERROR: No /sbin/init found on rootdev (or not mounted). Trouble ahead.
You can try to fix it. Type 'exit' when things are done.
/sbin/bash: can't access tty; job control turned off
keyboard and mouse as dead as a politicians concience.
Aside from the MB-change, the only other differences are:
Both HDDs switched order on the SATA-controller.
Added a Video-card (reason I changed the MoBo...)
What could be the problem?
*) - "kinda" because the first in two tries the installer "lost" my keyboard and mouse(both usb) from the get-go. Funny enough they worked when I plugged them into my front-panel. (The graphical BIOS had no problems at all with them, wherever I plugged them...)
