Changing keyboard layout
« on: March 23, 2016, 09:49:10 am »
I am new to Vector and not very competent technically. I have installed the latest Vector Lite and must have missed the keyboard selection at installation as I have a US layout and want to change it to UK. Can someone tell me how to do this please. Please try and keep any answer simple.
Thanks

Open a terminal window, then su to become the root user.

After you enter the password, type 'vkmapset'
Select your keyboard map there.  YOu may need to reboot after that.

Thank you for your promt response. Re-start apparently not required. All sorted :)
