this argument has nothing to do with my opinions of this case. it has to dowith the people involved
and this can be applied to almost any tech involved court cases
my problem with this is that jurors more than likely have no idea
what they are looking at, hearing about, deliberating on.
one of the major fallacies about the american court system is that you get a jury of your peers.
nothing could be farther from the truth. the point being that imo regular old average joe american
isnt knowledgable enough to make these types of decisions. im not implying they are stupid, only
that most americans are ignorant of such things. in fact most people in the entire world are.
this also includes the judges/lawyers involved in the case
not only are they more than likely ignorant of of the tech(and the licenses involved) they are making
decisions about. but this means they also have no idea what the rammifications of their decisions will be
