just about to play Metal Slug 2 with my cousing online (multyplayer) with Kaillera. Xmame dropped kaillera long ago,so now I'm running http://www.kaillera.com/files/mame32-067-414-ka09.exe with Wine.... and its kaillera client works without a problem here on linux. I only had to set it up on windowed mode... Oh and btw, It even picks up my joypad and with sound, and almost no lag by God, Wine devs are good. Wine also works on another windows emulator with kaillera's netplay capabilities: JneS. So if you wanna play some old school NeS game with a friend somewhere on the other side of the world, get jnes and open it with wine (again,it picked up my usb joypad!!)

I flip between KDE and Fluxbox, but mostly the latter. I like its clean simple looks, no desktop garbage and very fast. Here it is with conky and mrxvt using Fluxbox Graphite-Integration style, PianosInSpace wallpaper:

vi ~/.emacs
Sometimes, there is little recourse when Emacs when one's customization file is broken.
Anyway, it's another article for Newsforge...which reviews Vim of course. And to speak of which, I have a new Vim package...

Du skulle använda twm, om enkelhet är ditt mål...egentligen är evilwm bättre i enkelhetordningen.

I am using VL 5.8 Standard Gold on an Omnibook 900 366MHz PII with 160MB RAM and a 6 Gig hard drive. I use Icewm with ROX due to the fact that XFCE has trouble creating windows for some applications. I decided to have a little fun with my desktop theme: http://www.geocities.com/jmculv/screenvistatux.jpgI made some slight modifications to the Icevista2 theme for Icewm. I found the tux trio online. I have also aquired some Vista themed icons from Puppy Linux for further customization.
