The Argentinian custom point will charge a bunch of money, as I learned recently in the worst way.

while wacom's pen's batteries are recharged by the surface as you draw (no need to change...ever) How cool is that? Annnnnd how in the heck do they manage it? Neat stuff. its cool alright. The main reason i bought it instead of genius mousepen: Wacom tablets use a patented electromagnetic resonance technology. Since the tablet provides power to the pen through resonant coupling, no batteries or cord is required for the pointing device. As a result, there are no batteries inside the pen (or the accompanying mouse). This allows for more slender pens, and gives the pen-and-tablet combination a long and essentially maintenance free lifespan. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wacomthe graphire brand is marketed to the bobbyists and has been discontinued (mine being its last model) . Im kind of sorry i didnt save more money to buy a intuous model. Intuous has more pressure levels and tilt-detection.

Geez, rbistolfi how much? Anyway, returning to the original subject of screenshots, here's my Fluxbox desktop (Cannibal Corpse: making continuation-passing exercises in Haskell fun since 2007) Notice my very nearly Scandinavian sense of aesthetics. SLICK

Uel, Here's a screenshot of me viewing your screenshot. Wish my hardware was fast enough, I'd post a "screen movie" of this so you can see the snow coming down. It's actually a good match for the wallpaper and the kids DIG it. One without cube For those not familiar with the snow plugin for compiz, it's pretty neat as each snowflake has a mind of it's own as they come down. Some even get bigger like the are coming towards you. Pretty realistic effect. Not something I'd normally use, but "Tis the season".

Moe: I'd like to see some video of your stuff in action. I just posted recordmydesktop. It seems to work great, but between that and compiz it lags my system too hard creating ugly video.

I dont think my hardware is good enough for that either... I always wanted to do the video thingie, but the lightest video capture program is still heavy when you run it along compiz here
