im not a programmer but being a millwright i know what a PLC is
and what its used for and i can program them which is just simple ladder logic anyway
what trips me out is Kaspersky, Symantec, etc knew it was written for a siemens PLC they never connected the dots that PLC == a "machine/process controller" until after it until AFTER the payload was delivered.
i find it hard to believe some of the presumeably best programmers in the world
couldnt figure out it was designed to take out machinery.
they actually make it a point to say that noone knew what it was gonna do until AFTER it did what it did.
i call shenanigans on that
