lousy BG on Jwm
« on: July 13, 2017, 11:01:25 pm »

I just installed and setup Jwm, everything works fine except that the background image I set for the desktop doesn't look very good, sort of... soft.
It is the same image I use in Xfce and Fluxbox and, as in Fluxbox, I used feh to set the image in Jwm, but it looks a lot worse.
This is the line in .jwmrc I used to set the background.

<StartupCommand>feh –bg-scale /usr/share/wallpapers/desktop1.jpg</StartupCommand>
</Desktops>

Everything else works and looks fine.

Seems to have solved the problem using this command in the .jwmrc file:

<Desktops width="2" height="2">
<Background type="image">/usr/share/wallpapers/desktop1.jpg</Background>
</Desktops>

Now the background image is good.
