Open a terminal and logon as root with the su command, then type in this command: lspci Post the output here. |

awsome. there is just one thing. i am crazy about windows so i know alot about it but when i started linix i never figured out how to install things. so how do i install it. i have soho 5.8. dont know if i have the program becuse as of right now for me to get on to the internet i need to run windows

You can add all the commands you did to make it work at the end of /etc/rc.d/rc.local
Just open the file as root with your fav text edit app and add the commands at the end.
