Oh, I can think of a lot of things to do with it. From replacing microcontroller systems in automation to... heck, to anything but gaming and video server. Pity about the USB though.

I just acquired a MediaStream eBox 3850ps, but it doesn't have a power adapter. Anyone know where I might obtain the 5-volt power adapter for this? It's kinda oddball: three pins, offset not centered, three or four nubs to seat it correctly. There's a good chance the mini computer has a 2.5" hdd, but I haven't cracked it open. It was rigged to be a car PC, from the looks of the mounting case.

That's a rather pricey pc for what you get ...
419 Euro's should get you more than this:

Processor:    Celeron D352 (3.2 GHz) Intel CPU
Memory:    512 MB DDR2-667
Hard Disk Drive:    SATA 80GB Hard Disk Drive
Optical Drive:    DVD Drive
Graphic Card:    Graphic onboard

Perhaps this is because it's a small thing that looks cute....
Oh well, at least somebody new is trying to sell computers with Linux on it, that's a good thing.

That is far too much money for a system that underpowered. For that amount of money you can get a laptop with better specs than that, or a very nice desktop.
