Binding foreign characters to key combination
« on: May 20, 2007, 05:17:31 am »
Hi,
firstly I am really enjoying VL. I have been using it for a few months now and haven't run into any great problems, considering this is my first attempt at linux I am thoroughly pleased and a touch surprised.

But, I was hoping someone could englighten me as to whether or not it is possible to bind the characters å, ä, ö to something like Windows Key + a, Windows + e, Windows + o? I have had a look at xmodmap but I can't really work out how I would do this.

cheers.
