Mp3 player
« on: May 24, 2007, 07:13:57 pm »
Hi, I have a Creative Zen Vision: M mp3 player, and im trying to get it to work on VL. I havent installed any of the software for it and don't plan to.

I know that in windows you can simply go to my computer and open up whatever drive it is in "E:" for example, But i'm having trouble finding anything like that in the VL file system.

So is there a way to find it in the file system, or do i have to install a bunch of shit to make it work?

You'll probably want to install gnomad2. Looks like all it's requirements are already on VL. You can get a package for it here: http://www.slacky.eu/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1622&Itemid=2

the zen is not a "normal" storage device, so I doubt it's going to be mounted automatically (or at all?). If you hotplug for instance a " normal" usb drive an icon should appear on your desktop,
Most music on my soundcloud page was arranged in programs running on VL.
