Has anyone used etherboot to boot vectorlinux from the network? if so, how did you go about doing it? also, is there a better alternative for booting vectorlinux from the network? suggestions?

Any help is appreciated... thanks in advance,
/david

I see alot of ppl have read this and no answers.

I do not quit understand what it is that you are trying
to accomplish.

Would you please be more descriptive. Like I am
trying to install Vector using a network install and do
not know where to start. Another might be I want to
have my boot partition on another computer and use
that to boot another computer.

what i would like to do is to instead of booting vectorlinux from the local harddrive or flash, boot its os from a server on the network. this way i can remote the harddrive entirely from the machine running vl.

does this help?

thanks,
/david
