EdiT: I met a dependency:

physfs: Depends: libpng-1.2.16 >= i486
after ignoring it,i have to manually install openal...

After playing abit,i get the feeling this version is a bit cut. Music is missing, some of the pictures too... ::)

That libpng library is in the testing repo:

The problem is that slapt-get is reading the arch (i486) as the version. Probably a bad slack required file.

Dang! Probably cause physfs is a cmake/makeslapt affair. I love checkinstall's slack-deps (after the OOorg issue went away), anything else deps on the specific package name, forgot about that... >:(

NOTE to M0E-lnx: let's add cmake processing to vpackager... ;D

After playing abit,i get the feeling this version is a bit cut. Music is missing, some of the pictures too... ::)
Thanks, I'll look into that. Perhaps checkinstall doesn't catch everything... :-[

Yes, please. Scribus, which is very important to me, now uses cmake. I managed to compile it but creating a package required help, which vector kindly provided.

Wasn't just makeslapt, checkinstall did it too. The installed libpng package name seems to be somewhat "iffy": libpng-1.2.16-i486-1_slack11.0

A couple of other packages also gave bad deps in physfs.

About the game data, AFAICT, it's all in there.

I think that since Patrick V started appending the slack version to the end of the build number for their more recent patches, it almost has to be accepted as a "standard" for packaging.

Ok, but the dep comes out like "libpng-1.2.16 >= i486"...  :o. I guess some patching will be in order for the dep generator code.
