Hi,

i installed for the last time 3 years ago a linux distro.

The Slackware  Grin

I was happy but not enough to make of them my first choice. And with the time i abbandoned it.

After so long time i tried today Vector Linux on my old computer.
Now linux is my first choice and not only on this PII, but also for my new computer.  Smiley

I wanted just say thank you for all the nice work you did.

Greetings from Italy  Cool

Marco

Welcome to VL. I hope it fits your needs.
As Vectorlinux is a slackware fork, you'll feel at home.

I started installing VL in my "old" box, and now I only have VL in my 4pcs  Grin

Regards from Spain

Marco,

I'm glad you like Vector Linux; I certainly like it very much myself.

You probably already know about this, but there's a Slackware website www.slacky.eu based in Italy.  They make packages which are compatible with Slackware 11 - so far the ones I've used have been compatible with Vector Linux 5.8 also.
