changing bootsplash image
« on: June 03, 2007, 04:23:15 pm »
Hi everyone! Before reading (and i think understanding some) http://www.vectorlinux.com/forum1/index.php?PHPSESSID=4ff82b75a5693e13c0b34ca2400da196&topic=11386.15 i`ve can not change the image in the lilo bootsplash. I´m using a bmp in 256 indexed color and 640 x 480 in resolution... i changed the images (replaced it, my boot.bmp, boot_shiny or something like it and boot_shiny256.bmp or something like that in the place of those images but with the same name) but.... nothing happened. What must i do to chang that image??? I´m using VL 5.1 std. Thank you very much!!

ps. for those who now are ansking why i´m using that versiong: i have a P4 1.8 gh with 128 ram!
