philips webcam camstream pwc module
« on: June 03, 2007, 05:03:31 pm »
Strange subject line I know. Just trying to make it easier for others to find information on what I'm doing.

Question: is the PWC module part of VL? or do I need to compile it from http://www.saillard.org/linux/pwc/

I compiled camstream without problems, and for the most part seems to be working, except for the pwc driver module.

Yes.
You can find out this info for yourself - in fact find any file you like with the command "locate". ie "locate pwc" wil show you the modules, amongst a few other files that have the string "pwc" in their name.
