addresses of software repositories

 I need addresses of repositories of packages that are compatible with vector Linux 5.8 SOHO final. :)

You can't really use gslapt or slapt-get for the above - they are not really VL repositories. You just hunt for what you want, download it, and use the command: "installpkg nameofpackge" to install them. As they are not VL packages they do not check for dependancies so you need to read their associated documentation.

You should also read the VL documentation regarding our packaging system:

Actually, slapt-get or gslapt can be used to fetch software from Slackware and linuxpackages.net sites. IIRC, the example slapt-get file in the Packages thread lists the slackware and linuxpackages.net repos in them.
