Genius of VL

I don't know when this became default behavior, but I noticed that in Midnight Commander, the left arrow key now brings you up one level (back), and right arrow key acts as enter (forward). This is a very handy time saver. Keep it that way!  ;D

Well, I think the Midnight Commander devs probably get the credit for that one.

Heh, I found it. It's a simple matter of checking "Lynx-like motion" in Options > Configuration.

On my Debian Etch systems, which use same version, this was not checked, nor do I remember seeing it on any other distros. Okay, so again I stumbled upon a useful piece of information.  :)

I never noticed that behavior in Midnight Commander before. Thanks for posting about it. It'll be very handy.
