VIA PCMCIA Problem
« on: June 10, 2007, 09:24:44 am »

Hi Guys!
First of all - im rather a noob with linux in general, so keep it easy on me :)

I'v just got a laptop - Athlon Mobil 2400 +, 256 RAM, with a Via board.

I can't get PCMCIA to work -
while instaling Vector, and chosing which services to run - I couldnt find PCMCIA anywhere, and while running VASM and doing a hardware search - nothing either + i lose my soundcard drivers, and Vector can't find them again.

A reinstal sorts the sound issue.

The PCMCIA slot is ok - as it works under WinXP, and anything i plug into it - it gets power.

Thank for your help!
